Application for "UEFA C+B Top Players 2025" coaching education is open

Who can apply?

Former or current top players who have at least the following amount of player experience from the top professional competition level or the A-national team can apply for the education.

A. The player has a minimum of 60 matches in the professional top division (registered in match sheet) and/or

B. The player has a minimum of 20 official matches in the A national team (registered in the match sheet)

The application takes place in Finnish FA's e-Akatemia system >>

The UEFA C+B education consists of contact teaching, self-study, online modules, tutoring, club sessions and a learning diary. The whole is built to serve coaches working in the youth phase.

During the education the participant must have a team in which they can complete the tasks related to the education.

Price: 2500 €
Language of education: Finnish and English

The residential blocks of the education in Eerikkilä:
Module 1 28.-30.1.2025
Module 2 3.-5.3.2025
Module 3 24.-25.3.2025
Module 4 29.9.-1.10.2025

Hours:
Total approx. 130 hours
Self-study (preliminary and intermediate assignments, online modules): ~50 hours
Contact periods: 80 hours
Experience card: number of hours individual approx. 10 hours
Tutoring
Tutoring during residential block 1-2

Comprehensive and holistic training sessions (based on game analysis):
Tutoring in your own environment
Regional micro group
Match tutoring

Prosessiin on tärkeää varata vähintään 6 kk.

It is important to reserve at least 6 months for the process.
After UEFA B training, the coach must coach for 12 months, after which they can apply for UEFA A, UEFA Youth B and UEFA GK A educations.

In the application, please provide well-prepared information that clearly shows the following information:

1. Contact information (name, phone, e-mail address, address, club, Pallo ID (if applicable)

2. Player career at the highest league level in Finland or abroad, clubs/team/competition level/years and number of matches.

A. Number of matches in the professional top division (registered in match sheet) and/or

B. Number of official matches in the A national team (registered in the match sheet).

3. Coaching experience and coaching duties/club/level of competition/years

4. Other education supporting coaching (pedagogy, sportscience or psychology)

5. In which club/team do you intend to carry out the practical coaching tasks required for UEFA C+B training in 2025.
